With the invention of Qubed Peas it quickly became apparent that a set of graphical tools to help manage your environment was needed.
First was a NodeJS web server to support local development. This relieved the problem of getting developers to set up a local web server in the same way time and again.
The next step was the Patch Viewer which allowed developers to visualize their environment and components better.
From there a massive number of tools were written. More obvious examples are:

Everything graphical was written with Qubed Peas and everything “server-side” was written in NodeJS.
