YouTube is awesome, but the tools they give to content creators leaves a bit or room for improvement. As I started producing my video series for Qubed Peas I realized I needed a more personally organized way to display the collections and groups to my viewers — especially on my own web pages.
With this problem in mind I set out to create a YouTube viewer that offered all the awesome of the embedded players with a great management system. This tool (with one line of html) allows content creators to organize and present their videos in any way they like. They can mix and match any way they see fit. If having a lead video and then a list of collections or even playlists makes sense, then that’s possible.
The player also has all of the expected state management caching, collection navigation tools, and everything else. The API includes almost anything you may want to do with a YouTube player.
